Deliverable D.1.4
The first update of the Internal Progress Report
Abstract
This Progress Report offers a thorough overview of the progress achieved in the SEEDplus project during months 11 (Feb. 2024) to 18 (Sep. 2024). The report evaluates key accomplishments, addresses challenges encountered, and assesses how the ongoing activities align with the project’s overall objectives. It also details the risk mitigation strategies that have been put in place by the consortium and lays out the necessary actions for the upcoming stages to ensure the project’s successful completion.
The primary aim of this deliverable is to provide all project stakeholders, including consortium members, university leadership, and the EU, with a transparent and comprehensive account of the progress made. By reflecting on the achievements so far and offering a roadmap for future activities, this report serves as a guiding document to ensure that the SEEDplus project remains on track and continues to meet its goals.
The structure of the report is designed to ensure clarity and transparency. It begins with an overview of the project’s objectives, goals, and expected outcomes, setting the context for the ongoing activities. This is followed by a summary of the progress achieved during the first 10 months of the project, providing a reference point for the developments covered in this reporting period. The main body of the report focuses on detailing the progress of each work package, highlighting key deliverables and milestones. Additionally, a section on challenges and risk mitigation outlines the measures taken by the consortium to address any obstacles encountered. The report concludes by presenting the next steps and future activities, with a focus on ensuring the sustainability and long-term impact of the SEEDplus project.
Key outcomes highlighted in the report include the successful implementation of the Venture Creation Course under WP3, which engaged 236 students, surpassing the initial target, and is now integrated into the Master’s curriculum at UiT. WP2, completed on time, produced transformation roadmaps that are now guiding the work under WP5. In WP4, the early start of the startup competition helped maintain student engagement, leading to a higher-than-expected participation rate. WP6 continues to focus on maximizing the project’s visibility and ensuring that SEEDplus results are effectively disseminated. This report is an essential tool for the consortium, providing both an assessment of past achievements and actionable insights for the future. It ensures that all partners remain informed and aligned with the project’s goals. Furthermore, this document will support ongoing efforts to secure additional funding, ensuring that the outcomes of the SEEDplus project have a lasting impact beyond its initial timeline.
